LegalTerms of Use
The rules for using this website — including the one that matters most: nothing here is professional advice, and no engagement exists until we both sign one.

T.01Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the NxtChapter Campus Advisors website. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
T.02Informational purposes only — no advisory relationship
The content of this site — including all descriptions of methodology, benchmarks, service tiers, funding pathways, and worked examples — is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, financial, accounting, or procurement advice, and it is not tailored to any institution’s circumstances.
No client or advisory relationship is created by using this site, submitting a form, running the self-assessment, or requesting a document. An engagement with NxtChapter exists only upon execution of a written engagement agreement signed by both parties.
T.03Self-assessment and illustrative figures
The bookstore self-assessment produces an indicative read derived from sector benchmarks and the answers you provide. Its outputs — including any estimated leakage range — are illustrative only, are not audit findings, and must not be relied upon for budgeting, negotiation, procurement, or any institutional decision. Worked examples elsewhere on the site use hypothetical figures and are labeled as such.
T.04Intellectual property
The site’s content, design, methodology descriptions, and the NxtChapter name and marks are the property of NxtChapter Campus Advisors, Inc. or its licensors. You may view, download, and print pages for your institution’s internal evaluation of our services. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent.
T.05Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site’s operation or security;
- Do not scrape, harvest, or systematically extract site content or submitted data;
- Do not submit information you do not have the right to share;
- Do not misrepresent your identity or institutional affiliation in forms or correspondence.
T.06Third-party materials
References to third-party data sources (such as IPEDS, NACUBO, or NACS), operators, statutes, or programs are for identification and informational purposes only and do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by those parties.
T.07Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Benchmark references reflect data believed reliable as of the dates indicated but are not warranted.
T.08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NxtChapter Campus Advisors, Inc. and its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of this site, and our total aggregate liability arising from site use shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and does not apply to executed engagement agreements, which contain their own terms.
T.09Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from site use shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [county], Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. [Counsel to confirm venue county and consider arbitration provision.]
T.10Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
