Methodology Independence Statement
We don’t ask you to accept “independent” as a conclusion — a claim like that invites challenge. We state it as a set of verifiable facts instead: no operator relationships, flat fee, no contingency. Each commitment below is written into how we operate and checkable in the work product itself.
Why this matters for a first client
An unproven firm asks a fair question of every prospect: why trust the analysis? Our answer is that you don’t have to. The methodology is documented, the benchmarks are sourced, the equation is published, and any qualified analyst — yours, or one you hire to check us — can rerun the work and reach the same numbers. Reproducibility is the credential.
If the numbers don’t support action, the findings brief says so, and the engagement ends at the current tier’s flat fee. We don’t adjust a finding because it’s inconvenient, and we don’t adjust it because it’s impressive: same inputs, same answer, every time — including when the answer is that you’re at market. That outcome is a success of the methodology, not a failure of the engagement.
Commercial structure as proof
Flat fee. No contingency, no percentage of a negotiated result, no incentive to inflate a number. Where grant funding applies, funds flow to the institution — never to NxtChapter. The fee structure is not a pricing preference; it is the enforcement mechanism for everything above it.
NxtChapter provides analytical insight. All final operational and contractual decisions remain the sole responsibility of the institution. This engagement is not an audit or attestation performed under AICPA or governmental auditing standards.
See the methodology applied to your contract.
Fee-only, vendor-neutral, institution-side only. The Tier 0 Discovery call is where that independence starts working for you — sixty minutes, no cost, no obligation.
